Safari Beach Lodge is an eco lodge directly on the shore of Lake Malawi located in the secluded Senga Hills Forest Reserve. It has its own private beach, a swimming pool, a beautiful platform bar and a lush forest garden with views over Leopard Bay.
There are seven chalets built from natural materials, all with private verandas with spectacular views of the lake from above. The main lodge, set in the garden, has 4 air-conditioned rooms. All rooms and chalets have a private bathroom, hot water, a fridge, a fan and electricity.
Most of the electricity is generated by 40 solar panels so there is always light and energy available. The restaurant has an international and local menu and is known for its quality food and fresh fish from the lake. High quality free wifi is available.
Guests can relax at the poolside, on the beach or in one of the secluded sitting areas, observe the local wildlife and the many birds and enjoy a good meal and a nice cool drink.
The more active can go swimming, kayaking, hiking or snorkelling. Boat trips to the nearby island are also very popular.
Safari Beach Lodge supports various village and environmental projects and visitors are encouraged to visit these.
