From this viewpoint on the eastern escarpment of the Zomba Plateau, one has a beautiful view of Zomba Town and its surroundings. You can even see Mount Mulanje in the distance. Local opportunists sell stones at the viewpoint. The viewpoint is named after Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, who visited the plateau in the 1950s.
