The Park runs along the Shire River, from its mouth at Lake Malombe. In the dry season, when elephants, hippo, crocodile,s and many antelope stay close to the only water supply, riverside game viewing is a never-to-be-forgotten experience. More than 400 species of birds, Lillians love birds, storks, and ground hornbills have been spotted here. The tour includes transfers to and from Liwonde as well as a picnic lunch.
