Situated in Thyolo Districts of the Southern Highlands of Malawi, NTEL started growing tea in the year 1931 and it is one of the eldest companies in Malawi to manufacture black tea.
Currently, NTEL is growing tea on over 1300 hectors of land and processed black CTC tea. At present company produce 2 million Kgs of black tea per year on a modernized factory.
The tea business in NTEL employs nearly 3000 field workers and about 293 people in the tea factories. Workers live and work in safe and healthy environments.

Each individual tour takes ± 2 hours including transfers
Tours may be combined with other historical or cultural tours to make a half day or full day excursion.
